What if I suspect unauthorized charges on my credit card?
Start with your credit card issuer, as they are responsible for initiating the process to validate the charge.
In the unlikely event that an unauthorized use of your credit card occurs, immediately notify your credit card issuer. It is critical that you contact your credit card issuer directly; they will explain the specific steps required to report suspected fraud, which generally include signing an affidavit attesting to the unauthorized charges and/or canceling the credit card in question.
Your credit card issuer is also responsible for initiating the process to validate and refund or reverse the unauthorized charges on your credit card.
