Here are some ideas to help you succeed with your implementation of the Smart Tools

If you are new to the Solutionz Smart Tool Portal, you are likely starting at our SILVER level.   

Solutionz brings you Smart Trip Planning, powered by our patent pending TripProximity™ technology.  It takes just minutes to activate using our Smart Tool Portal.

The underlying technology behind TravelingToGive™ is all about proximity - finding lodging nearby your actual location.  There are three different type of tools that you can set up:

  • ANYWHERE - this tool allows you to literally travel anywhere, at any time, for any reason to anywhere in the world.  
  • VENUE - this tool is for a specific place and it is best used on a VISIT US or CONTACT US page on your website or on a landing page for a venue. 

    We also have a Dynamic version of the tool for those organizations with hundreds, thousands or even millions of venues.  This is available for our PLATINUM level accounts.  On the portal, you may click on the UPGRADE button to learn about the features of each level.

 

  • EVENT - this tool is available to power trip planning to your event for our GOLD level clients.  If you have a list of more than one event, you can consider our Dynamic tool, to trip enable your event list.


CUSTOMIZING YOUR TOOL

Once you become a GOLD level member, you may customize your tool and also choose your own charity to impact with each trip.  With the look and feel, you may add your own image for the header (either hero image or a rectangle image) and set the default options for your trip planning.  You may also completely customize

the Concierge tab, which may contain links to any content anywhere on the web (videos, images, documents, web pages, social media).

MAKING YOUR TOOL AVAILABLE

From the Preview and Ready to Use page, you may make some changes to the tool using the Quick Edit function, or you may choose where to use it.

Your tool can be activated on your website or blog, or we can host it on our site, with your own URL to access it.  Either way, if you are using for your personal travel, we recommend that you bookmark the link.

If you are a Google Chrome, Calendar and/or Contacts user and you are a frequent traveler, sign up for our BETA test of our Smart Trip Pin.

If you are making the tool available for your team members, your donors, your volunteers, your friends and family, make sure to provide a link or a QR code to them so that they can easily find it when they need to travel.  

If you are using the event tool, we recommend that you put it on your event landing page and also put an image in your email confirmation that links back to the trip planning tool for the event.

If you have a system, such as CRM, calendaring, contact management, ticketing and registration, that people use every day [or at least frequently], you may want to integrate our tool into your system.  This requires our Dynamic tool, which is available to our PLATINUM users.

DASHBOARD

Each widget has its own dashboard to show you the stats for views, searches and bookings for the smart tool.  If there are bookings, there should also be a recap of sales (hotel, car and air).

 

KNOWLEDGE BASE

The Knowledge Base can be accessed from the Portal or from any of our websites.   Click in the chat box in the lower right corner of the screen.

From there you can search the Knowledge Base by typing in any term into the Search articles box.  

During business hours you may also chat with us.  If it is outside business hours, you'll see when we'll be back and you can enter your email address and your question and we'll get back to you by email.
