Initial Setup for FREE Launcher tool
STEP 1. GRANT ACCESS
The first thing you need to do is grant access and add the tool to your toolbar. This is done by clicking on the puzzle piece on the right side of the extension toolbar (just to the right of the search bar).
STEP 2. MOVE PIN TO EXTENSION BAR
Then select the PIN to the right of SMARTlauncher for Google Chrome. You may then choose to move the SMART meets HEART icon (black with the red heart and multi-colored pin) to the left on the Extension Bar so it is easier to see.
At this point the SMARTlauncher is live, but you will see the Solutionz logo and the only launcher items will be the GOOGLE Chrome launcher items and a few other items that we have "trip enabled". You will see the SMART meets HEART icon on the items that have been integrated with the SMARTtrip pin.
REGISTERING for eligibilty to earn royalties and donations
You are about to register and build your SMARTlauncher tool that will guide your browser experience, give you a new source of revenue and donations.
In order to allow you to be eligible for donations to your favorite charity from your bookings, you will need to register your account. Click on the black button above to register.
If you do not already have an account, you will want to register. You can do that by clicking on the SMART meets HEART icon in the Browser.
If you have a referral code, click Yes, I have one, otherwise, just click on the REGISTER button.
Follow the steps in the Registration function on the SMARTtools Portal. You will have four choices:
1. FREE Silver Account - this will retain the Solutionz branding, but you will become eligible for an automatic upgrade to GOLD when you do 10 travel bookings.
2. GOLD ($20/mo) - this allows you to build and customize your own SMARTtrip tool, plus select 3 navigation items in your SMARTlanding tool. Your SMARTlanding tool will have your logo and name as well. You will earn $1 per booking unit (lodging room nights, car rental days and air tickets issued). We will also donate 10% of our revenues from your bookings at the end of each year to your charity of choice. You will have unlimited SMARTtrip tools, including SMARTgiving and SMARTevent tools, plus one SMARTsnapshot (digital marketing tool).
3. PLATINUM ($40/mo) this allows you to build and customize your own SMARTtrip tool, plus select 6 navigation items in your SMARTlanding tool. You will have all the benefits of GOLD, plus unlimited SMARTshapshots, our SMARTmap function and one SMARTcalendar license (launching in November). This also includes the ability to integrate our dynamic tools into your site or system.
4. MARQUIS ($400/mo) is our enterprise license. It has 9 navigation items and is eligible for our SMARTbranding upgrade, which has its own image library. It has the same benefits as PLATINUM, plus unlimited SMARTcalendar licenses.
The system will automatically build a SMARTtrip tool and put the number of that tool in the Chrome Extension registration under the SMART TRIP PIN function. If you have selected GOLD or any of the other upgrade options, it will then ask you to build the launcher items.
If you do already have an account, grab the widget number that you wish to use to govern and track your bookings and LINK your account by clicking on the SMART meets HEART icon on the Chrome browser and clicking on the three hash marks on the right side of the drop down.
How does the SMARTtrip pin work with the extension?
The SMARTtrip Pin Extension allows you to find lodging (a hotel, an apartment, a condo, a private home, a villa) near literally anywhere. It also allows you to find driving directions and car or motorcycle rental, look at a map of the venue and buy airline tickets. Plus it has a curated concierge function with cool trip tools and much more.
With the new extension you will see a new landing page with a launcher each time you open a new tab.
The image will rotate each time you open a new tab. In the lower left corner you'll see the temperature for your location (if you granted permission when you downloaded), the local time and date and a link to the cool image that is displayed, with info about the photographer. You'll also see a customizable launcher. You'll notice the Smart Meets Heart icon on the applications that are "trip-enabled".
What does Trip-Enabled mean?
From any page in the Chrome Browser, you will be able to click on the extension image in the toolbar or on the launcher and the following window will display. This is the Smart Trip Tool that allows you to book your travel to anywhere, for any reason, at any time.
For GOLD, PLATINUM and MARQUIS clients, you can add your own branded header to the tool and customize the color scheme, trip planning options and the curated concierge page.
When you click on the extension from a Google Search for a particular location or you select it from a calendar entry with a physical address for a meeting/visit or from your Google Contacts results, the address will be auto-filled. You can also highlight any address or company name from any results page on the web and the system will look up the location.
You may then search for lodging nearby for the address entered and the number of guests/rooms requested. We offer a 110% best rate guarantee on all lodging bookings.
VIP Program
As a use of the Solutionz Smart Tools you are now eligible to become a VIP Member of our booking partner's system. Simply do a search on our tool and on the right side of the screen, click to join VIP. The next time that you do a search from any of our Smart Trip Tools, it will track your booking to your VIP account.
