Welcome to the Smart Trip Pin Extension

The new Google Chrome Extension allows you to book a hotel, get driving directions, rent a car, access cool trip tools, view a map and book air, right from your Chrome browser, your Google calendar, your Google contacts and the Google Map.

If you have landed here, you may have already discovered our Smart Trip Pin Chrome Extension on the Chrome Web Store.  This extension enables one click trip planning from the four Google tools shown above, plus many other places on the web.

To add to Extensions

Simply click on Add to Chrome button and Google will update your Extensions.

First, it will congratulate you for adding the Smart Trip Pin to your Extensions.  

Step 1 Add the Extension to your Toolbar

Manage your extensions by clicking Extensions in the Window menu or clicking on the puzzle piece to the left of the separator bar on your toolbar.

You will then see the dropdown with your Extensions listed.   It may show those that need to be granted access at the top or the Smart Trip Pin may be shown in the list.  

Click on the PUSH PIN icon to the right of TravelingToGive SmartTrip Pin item to add it to your Extension toolbar. 

Moving the ICON on your Toolbar

Once you have added it to your toolbar, you may drag and drop it to any position you wish.  It will default to the right position as the last Extension. Moving it to the left will give the best visibility.

Step 2 - Tracking your usage

When you click on the Smart Trip Pin Extension, the Smart Trip tool will be displayed and is ready to use.  If you are new to TravelingToGive, you must REGISTER to track the use of the tool.  You can do this by clicking on the three lines in the upper right corner of the tool.  

If you already have a TravelingToGive account, contact your Account Director to ensure your Smart Trip tool is connected to your account.

NOTE:   If you have been invited to participate in our BETA test, you will receive a special registration code that allows you to begin giving with your FIRST booking.  We will automatically upgrade you to our  GOLD level.

Step 3 - Register

The registration process is simple and the system will build your first tool automatically.  


If you are registering for the first time, we will be sending you a confirmation email after you register that will contain the Widget # that you will insert into the registration link after building your account.

What if I already have a portal account?

If you already have an account on the Solutionz Smart Tool Portal, you can go to the home page of the portal by clicking on HOME on the breadcrumbs on the top left of the screen and sign up for the Smart Trip Pin beta.    It will walk you through the steps and send you a confirmation email with your selected widget number to register on the extension.
