How do I get my business listed in Google so that the TRY tool and TravelingToGive can find it?

You will need to have a Google account and then build your business profile, including your street address

If your business doesn’t appear in the Google Places lookup, it usually means it hasn’t been added to or verified in Google Maps yet.

To add your business:

  1. Go to Google Business Profile.
  2. Select Add your business to Google.
  3. Enter your business name, address, and other requested information.
  4. Complete Google’s verification process (typically by phone, email, video, or postcard).
  5. Once your business has been verified and published, it will typically become available in Google Places searches. This may take anywhere from a few hours to several days.

If your business is already listed in Google Maps but isn’t appearing in the lookup, make sure your Google Business Profile is verified and that the business name and address are accurate.
