This article provides detailed instructions on tool creation and customization.
When you create a new Smart Tool, there are a number of options. What you see will depend on the Level of your Account (see top navigation for your level).
There are 5 different elements of Customization possible for our GOLD and PLATINUM clients.
Basics
For the Anywhere tool, the name defaults to Click | Travel | Give and the header will default to Smart Trip Planning for my Destination.
For the Venue tool, The name of the tool will be displayed from Step 2. Then you may provide the Header to be displayed on the tool.
Look & Feel
Select Image: Upload your own image, add a direct link to an image stored online or use our default graphic for the header of your smart tool.
URL for the Image: Hyperlink the image to an information page about the place or event for marketing (ex. ticketing and registration).
Select Color Palette: Choose existing palettes from the palette creator or enter in the unique color code for your brand's colors.
Marketing Message: Enter up to 50 characters to appear on the header of the tool that shares the message of your brand.
Trip Options
When setting up travel options, you are able to customize what the person booking will see such as: number of rooms, number of guests, and the travel booking timeframes.
As you customize your travel search results for lodging options, you are able to filter by brand family, number of hotel stars and select the amenities.
For driving information, you are able to select a preferred car company if you choose.
For flying information, you may select a preferred airline, seat class and airport.
The preferred airport for venue and event tools is the destination airport closest to your location. For Anywhere tools, the preferred airport is the default origin airport.
Smart Concierge
If you are Gold or Platinum Level, you will have the ability to add and edit content in the Smart Concierge area by adding sections, item details, and even photos, videos, links, to customize to your brand and messaging for your tool. Sections can be moved and reordered by clicking and dragging. You also can remove or delete a tab or section if desired.
